As the Official Crypto Partner of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, Coinbase set out to make a mark on AMF1's home turf during the British Grand Prix and went full throttle, taking over London with a colossal 118-foot custom electric blue racing helmet. We kicked off the tour with a Race Week Celebration Event attended by 150 influencers, press, and tastemakers to spread the word: The Future of Money had finally arrived in the UK.

The Plan

    Our High-impact, 5,600 sq ft. IMAX Billboard Wrap at Waterloo Station in Central London generated 6M+ impressions in just one week.

    Race Week Celebration

    Coinbase invited 150 of London’s finest culture and tech-tastemakers to an exclusive race week event, generating 128 pieces of unique content, and receiving 2.7 Million impressions.

  • A parade float featuring a large blue racing helmet with sponsorship logos, driving past the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben in London, UK, with spectators on the sidewalk.

    Helmet Tour & Pop-up

    The Helmet made its way past London’s biggest landmarks, catching glances from on-lookers before landing in Covent Garden for a massive pop-up attended by over 55k visitors; Nearly doubling the average attendance of similar activations at the same location.

SOCIAL & PRESS

Supported with a fully-integrated social campaign, the Event went global garnering 1.5M+ organic social impressions and earned 16 press features in the virtual pages of Forbes, Culted, and The Face.
